Ways I Can Lend a Hand

Some jobs need an extra set of hands. Others just need someone nearby who’ll take care of things. Whether this is your year-round home, the family cabin, or your parents’ place, I’m happy to help.

I can handle full dock, pier, and boat lift installation and removal; winterize outdoor faucets and blow out lines to help prevent burst pipes; give gutters a deep cleaning; and clear winter debris from porches.

After a storm, I can walk through to check for downed limbs or leaks. Monthly “quiet house” visits help check for pests or power outages while you’re away. I can collect mail and packages, and be a local point of contact for other folks working at your property.

I’ll send a photo when I get to your place, so you know I’ve arrived and can see how things look before I get started.

02 Progress snapshots

I don’t just send a photo at the end. I share progress snapshots along the way, including before-and-after shots of specific tasks, so you can see exactly what I’m taking care of.

03 A final “all clear”

Before I head out, I’ll send a final “all clear” photo and a quick note about what’s done or anything that needs attention. You—or your kids in the city—can follow the whole visit without making the drive.

My Story

This started with helping my own grandparents take care of their place here in the Northwoods. I saw how much a reliable set of hands could mean: the heavy chores got done, and they could keep enjoying the home they loved.

I love the Northwoods, and I want to help the people who live here keep their homes safe, beautiful, and comfortable. If a chore has gotten too physically demanding, you shouldn’t have to tackle it alone. And if you’re looking out for your parents from a few hours away, it helps to have someone local you can reach directly.

That’s what I hope to be: a familiar face who shows up, takes care of things, and keeps you in the loop. My dog often tags along for the ride and usually hangs around while I work—occasionally making a simple trip a little more interesting.
